Russia

Ukraine
War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity
Russian forces in Ukraine have committed and continue to commit war crimes and crimes against humanity in the occupied regions of Ukraine, in violation of international law and basic human decency. Russian crimes in Ukraine constitute genocide and ethnic cleansing, with Russia’s stated war aims including the elimination of Ukrainians as a separate country, language, culture, and people.
In recent comments (see below), Kremlin spokesman Medvedev stated that Russia plans on sending dissident Ukrainian citizens in a future occupied Ukraine to be “re-educat[ed] in forced labor camps” (gulags). Russia has already engaged in the mass conscription, deportation, and repression of Ukrainian citizens in the occupied territories, violations of the laws of war.
Overview
Former Russian President and Prime Minister and one the Kremlin’s chief spokesmen Medvedev reiterated that Russia’s goals remain the conquest of the entirety of Ukraine including Kyiv, though he magnanimously left open the possibility of a rump state surviving in Lviv Oblast (with hints that this would or should be annexed by neighboring Poland).
Ukraine and the International Monetary Fund have reached an agreement for another $880 million loan, necessary for funding the wartime government’s services.
Denmark announced another $230 million aid package for Ukraine, including 15,000 155mm Czech-produced shells, mine-clearing equipment, radars, drones, and more. Britain also announced it would send 200 more Brimstone anti-tank missiles to Ukraine, and the German Bundestag approved the delivery of additional materiel (though rejecting the provision of long-requested Taurus cruise missiles), while New Zealand announced a $15 million humanitarian aid package.
