War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity
Russian forces in Ukraine have committed and continue to commit war crimes and crimes against humanity in the occupied regions of Ukraine, in violation of international law and basic human decency. Russian crimes in Ukraine constitute genocide and ethnic cleansing, with Russia’s stated war aims including the elimination of Ukrainians as a separate country, language, culture, and people.

Overview
President Zelenskyy arrived in Switzerland for the World Economic Forum, where he plans to meet with Allied leaders, secure further funding, and discuss ongoing peace plan efforts, the provisions of which include the withdrawal of all Russian forces from Ukraine, the return of all Ukraine’s sovereign territory, the paying of reparations, and the arrest and trial of Russian war criminals.
On a related note, Switzerland announced it would provide $1.75 billion in funding for reconstruction efforts. Likewise, Denmark announced it would provide $21 million to help rebuild the Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv.
