War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity
Russian forces in Ukraine have committed and continue to commit war crimes and crimes against humanity in the occupied regions of Ukraine, in violation of international law and basic human decency. Russian crimes in Ukraine constitute genocide and ethnic cleansing, with Russia’s stated war aims including the elimination of Ukrainians as a separate country, language, culture, and people.

Overview
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba reiterated that the West’s support for Ukraine is not waning, and that Ukraine’s partners understand and are receptive to its requests for further aid and support.
Surveys of Russian citizens indicate that support for the war in Ukraine is decreasing, in line with earlier trends, and that the level of support for continuing the war has likely dropped below the level of support for ending it.
